Mission
Having curated exhibitions and represented
artists since 2006, CHARLIE SMITH london established its gallery space
in Old Street in October 2009 with the objective of running an
exceptional exhibition programme of dedicated one person exhibitions and
dynamic curated group shows.
Our approach is collaborative and curatorial with an emphasis on work
that challenges, seduces, confronts and consoles. Beauty, death, horror,
sexuality, the historical and mythological are our common interests.
Our aim is to discover and promote vital artists, and introduce them to
local and international markets, creating a global synergy for
like-minded and progressive artists, collectors, galleries and curators.
